Sadly will be celebrating it a bit differently this year due to covid-19. Instead of visiting our family and friends for Iftar, we are trying to make things creative by doing an iftar drop off, (there is where we drop off food to our loved ones so they can break their fast with). Instead of praying at the mosque we will be praying at home and for Eid celebrations it will just be the 5 of us – me, my husband and 3 children. I usually love hosting Eid at my home for our friends and family, last year I did a sweet table – it was beautiful! I really wanted to do a big picnic style theme this year for everyone but I’ll still do a smaller one for my family. I still want my children to fully enjoy this blessed and festive time of the year. Although we won’t be with our loved ones physically, we can always keep them close with a letter or a call, love is always near ❤️ |
