YOUR BEST STYLE TIP FOR GOING FROM DAY TO NIGHT DURING THE FESTIVE SEASON?

Always have your favourite red lipstick in your bag for an easy transition from day to night make up. Elegant long boots can work well for day and night without the need to a footwear change over. Hair up always looks more polished and formal. And a pair of beautiful, bold earrings you can pop in your bag go a long way.

HOW WILL YOU BE WEARING NEEDLE & THREAD THIS CHRISTMAS?

In candlelight to really set off those shimmering sequins. I love going to town with accessories and with my black Snowdrop Gown I’ll be putting on some fierce gold and black embellished Louboutin sandals and chic gold statement jewellery. More is more this Christmas. I’ve got a couple of black tie events and this gown is just beyond perfect.

YOUR FAVOURITE FESTIVE THING TO DO WITH THE FAMILY IN LONDON?

I always take my girls to see the Nutcracker at the Coliseum on the last day of school. It has fond memories for me as a little girl and it keeps this old fashioned, charming, magical dream of Christmas alive. It’s my favourite day of the year! I try and steer well clear of any shops with them and organise as many family walks on Hampstead Heath as possible.

WHAT’S ON YOUR CHRISTMAS LIST?

I’d love an initial ring from Carolina Bucci. A pair of black quilted Chanel pumps. And a label maker. I have a feeling I’ll definitely be getting the last one…It’s really all about the children and creating wonderful memories for them. If Santa pitches up with something fab, it will be the cherry on top.
